Call the restaurant at +352 26 52 18 60 as soon as possible to request a change or cancellation.
Normal orders
There is no customer cancellation button or online cancellation window. The customer must call the restaurant. The restaurant owner handles the request based on whether preparation, pickup or delivery has started, the payment state, and the payment method.
Right of withdrawal
Prepared meals, rapidly perishable food and restaurant services provided on an agreed date or within an agreed period are excluded from the fourteen-day withdrawal right that the Luxembourg Consumer Code provides for distance contracts. The customer's other rights remain unaffected.
Refusal or timeout
If the restaurant refuses the order or lets the request expire, no food is prepared. The online authorisation is released. Any amount already captured is refunded through the payment process.
Customer-requested cancellation
The restaurant confirms whether it can still stop the order and then states what action follows for the payment.
Student orders
A student order is paid immediately. The customer calls the restaurant. The owner then handles fulfilment or an audited refund.
Reservations
A request can be changed or cancelled by contacting the restaurant. It still requires confirmation and no deposit is taken.
Refund timing
Hong Xiang starts the refund as soon as the decision is made. The amount then returns to the original payment method, usually within five to ten business days depending on the customer's bank.
Complaints
If a disagreement remains unresolved, the customer may refer it to the Service national du Médiateur de la consommation, 2A rue Kalchesbrück, L-1852 Luxembourg.
